You may manually change the display language for the McAfee Online Backup backup software on Windows. While using the backup software, you may see messages provided by the Windows operating system. You may be able to change the display language for your Windows operating system. For more information, see Changing Language.

Open the Settings window.
- (Windows 8) On the Start screen, click the McAfee Online Backup Settings tile.
- (Windows 7 or earlier)
Right-click the McAfee Online Backup icon
in the notification area, then select

- If prompted, enter your username and password.
- Click the Options tab, then click the Advanced tab.
- In the Language list, choose the language for displaying the backup software, then click OK.
